We refinanced with a VA loan through Freedom Mortgage in June 2016. In October, 2916 they contacted us offering us a lower interest rate. Before closing, Freedom Mortgage told us that we were are to skip two (2) months payments. On November 2, 2016 they contacted us with a closing date of November 15... and that we needed to skip November and December mortgage payments and that our NEW payment is due January 1, 2017. However, we explained to Freedom Mortgage that our November payment has already been made, so they reversed the payment and returned the funds back into our checking account. (although we suggested delaying closing until December 15, 2106 to allow for payments, etc. to settle.) At any rate, November 21, 2016 we received a letter from Freedom Mortgage stating that November payment had NOT been made and is NOW late. Furthermore, a $70 late payment was assessed to our account which may adversely affect on our credit rating.

If you like talking to your mortgage company ALMOST DAILY, then you should use this company. If you want your credit ruined, then you should use this company. If you want to spend your valuable time writing frustrating complaints and consumer reviews, then you should use this company. Consumer BEWARE!!!!
